CAREER
Sindhu Gangadharan has a dual role within SAP. Firstly, she serves as the Senior Vice President, leading the SAP User Enablement Unit, which focuses on providing consistent, intelligent, and personalized enablement for SAP’s entire product portfolio. Secondly, she holds the position of Managing Director for SAP Labs in India, overseeing product development and innovation across SAP’s Research & Development facilities in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurgaon. Notably, SAP Labs India is the largest R&D center outside of SAP’s headquarters in Germany and is known for its innovation and diverse talent pool.
Sindhu’s journey at SAP began in 1999 when she joined SAP Labs India during its inception in Bangalore. Over the years, she contributed significantly to various products, technology platforms, and innovation initiatives while holding strategic leadership roles with global teams. Her pivotal contributions include shaping SAP’s Integration strategy as the Head of Product Management for SAP Integration Suite, IoT, and SAP Process Orchestration. Her deep technical expertise and business acumen positioned her as the head of the critical integration function within SAP’s Technology and Innovation organization under the Office of the CTO.
Furthermore, Sindhu played a key role in leading SAP’s global Intelligent Enterprise Program, reporting directly to SAP’s Executive Board. Her leadership was instrumental in translating SAP’s vision and strategy of the Intelligent Enterprise into actionable end-to-end process delivery roadmaps.
In January 2021, Sindhu expanded her influence by joining the Board of Directors at Qualtrics International Inc, a pioneer in Experience Management software based in Utah. She also contributes her expertise as an Independent Director focusing on technology at Titan Company Ltd. Sindhu actively participates in industry bodies, serving as a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council, the apex organization for IT/IT-enabled services in India. Additionally, she is a member of the Steering Committee of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, which fosters bilateral trade and collaboration. In March 2021, she took on the role of an Advisory Board member for EverLoop by SAP, further showcasing her commitment to innovation and industry leadership.
