Born in Nawada, Bihar, India, Smriti Bhagat hails from an educated family. Her father, Santosh Bhagat, serves at the Civil Court in Nawada, and her mother, Sarika Bhagat, holds the position of principal at a private school. Meanwhile, Smriti’s brother, Suyash Bhagat, is pursuing a B.Tech degree in Delhi. The Bhagat family has its roots in Bhagalpur. Smriti’s grandfather was employed in Indian Railways. In the year 2000, her father secured a position at Nawada Civil Court, leading the family to settle in Nawada ever since. She is of Indian nationality and comes from a Hindu family. EDUCATION
Prior to this, Smriti completed her 12th examination at DAV School in Bhagalpur, her hometown. She initially received her primary education at Vikas Kindergarten in Nawada and later passed her 10th class examination from DPS. Her aspiration to participate in the Miss India contest stems from the desire to elevate Bihar’s representation in the beauty world.
CAREER
Smriti Bhagat, the crowned Miss Bihar, embodies a unique blend of beauty and scholarship. Having successfully cleared the prestigious CLAT exam in 2000, she is currently pursuing her legal studies at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi. Praveen Sinha, Director of Ocean Entertainment in Patna, orchestrated the competition, graced by renowned figures in the modeling realm, including Manya Singh, the runner-up of Femina Miss India 2020, and Bollywood actor Pankaj Keshari. Beyond securing the title, Smriti has been appointed as the brand ambassador for esteemed companies such as Citykart and Tarak.
