CAREER
Sonia began her acting career with an episodic TV show Crime Patrol Dastak in 2010. Later, she did cameo in CID. She got first breakthrough role in 2011 with Kahani Chandrakanta Ki, where she played the role of Bhoomi, Sonia played the role of Sai Bai Bhosle, Shivaji’s first wife in Indian historical drama serial Veer Shivaji that aired on Colors TV . After that, Sonia appeared in historical comedy drama Tenali Rama aa Maharani Chinnadevi, King Krishnadev Raya’s first wife. Apart from TV, she made her Bollywood debut with comedy movie Pagleaazam in 2020 directed by Vikas P Kavthekar and APS Raghuvanshi.
She has featured in Print-shoota fir various brands including Shoppers Stop, Monte Carlo, Wilss Lifestyle and many more. Sonia has made special appearances in Heroes expressed the Story of Neerja Bhanot (2012) and SuperVillains (2016).
