He began his career at the marketing and investments department of Cushman & Wakefield, a real estate services firm in the United States, in August 2008 and worked there until May 2010. In 2010, he established VB Corp, a real estate company in Mumbai. In July 2013, he was appointed managing director of Pecan Partners, a consultancy and business development organisation based in the United States. He was there for about eight years. He continued to work for his own real estate company after leaving his employment.
