CAREER
Vikas Sawant started working as a delivery boy for a bank at a very young age to help support his family. So he made the decision to become a dancer. Later, he sang “Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri” from the Hindi song “Phir Hera Pheri” (2006). He received positive feedback from the audience for his performance and was paid Rs 2000. He collaborated with a dance troupe on 2009’s episode of Colors’ Hindi reality TV programme “India’s Got Talent.” In order to seek professional instruction in dance genres including Bollywood and Freestyle, he later enrolled in a dance school. Then he took part in the “ABCD Dance Competition,” where he won first place and garnered a tonne of fame. He took part in “India’s Dancing Superstar,” a Hindi reality TV programme, which aired on Star Plus in 2013.
