Vivek Seshadri’s academic journey includes pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where he honed his research skills and knowledge. He completed his Ph.D. program in 2016.
Before his doctoral studies, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, in 2009, laying the foundation for his academic and professional achievements.
CAREER
At Karya Inc, Vivek has played a pivotal role as a Co-Founder since July 2020. Karya Inc is focused on creating opportunities for supplemental income in rural communities through digital work, making a positive impact on the lives of rural workers.
His association with Microsoft spans over 7 years, where he has held various roles, including Principal Researcher. In his current role, which began in September 2021, he continues to contribute to Microsoft’s research efforts, demonstrating his expertise and dedication to the field of computer science.
Prior to his current roles, Vivek served as a Researcher at Microsoft for five years from September 2016 to September 2021, further solidifying his reputation as a respected researcher in the industry.
Throughout his career, Vivek has also gained valuable industry experience through internships at renowned companies like Intel Corporation and Google.
