EDUCATION
Yash Kela has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in ICT from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. He is also a Charted Financial Analyst with Level 1 certification attained in 2014.
CAREER
Prior to his current position, Yash Kela has been deeply involved in various ventures. He is the Founder of Arrivae, a full-stack solution for home and office improvement, offering custom-designed spaces to consumers. ARRIVAE’s comprehensive stack includes financing, experience centers, design partners, logistics, production, and tech integration.
Yash Kela is also the Founder of Singularity Holdings VC, where he has been in a full-time role since February 2016. Singularity Holdings VC holds venture investments across mobility, consumer, financial services, and healthcare. Singularity aims to create non-linearity in companies through underlying intellectual property and overlying brand strategies.
Before his venture into Singularity Holdings VC, Yash Kela was the Founder of Singularity Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a cross-border investment book between India and the US. This venture focused on investing in companies across various sectors like financial services, consumer brands, consumer intelligence platforms, telecom networks, and precision manufacturing.
Yash Kela’s diverse portfolio also includes being the Co-founder of Nitro Network, where he served for 2 years and 6 months. He has experience as an Investor in Residence at Indusage Partners, a cross-border VC fund across India and the US, focusing on investing in companies with underlying IP in areas like telecom networks, healthcare, financial services, and education.
Additionally, Yash Kela has been involved in various entrepreneurial endeavors, including being the Founder of MyStories, a search fund created to acquire an existing company in the organized furniture space. His innovative approach includes piggybacking on the value migration from unorganized to organized furniture, tapping into a market undergoing consolidation.
