Yasmine’s career took an unexpected turn when she was scouted online for a television show. This opportunity led her to work as a news correspondent for TV8, where she reported from London twice a week. Her work expanded to include filming numerous documentaries and reporting for various channels, including Amnesty International and the BBC.

Her foray into acting began with a role in the popular British TV series “Red Dwarf.” This debut opened the doors to a prolific acting career, with Yasmine appearing in over 30 films, often as the lead actress. Her performances have earned her numerous awards at film festivals, showcasing her talent and versatility.

In 2019, Yasmine made her West End debut as the lead actress in the play “Tangled,” performed at the Criterion Theatre. Her success in theatre further established her as a talented and versatile performer.

Currently residing in London, Yasmine has also made significant strides as a producer. She founded Bastet Productions, through which she has produced 10 short films and 10 documentaries. Her company is now moving forward with its first feature film, which is officially in pre-production.
