Prior to entering the glamour industry, Smita worked as a lecturer at Parthivi College of Engineering and Management.
In 2019, Smita made the move to Mumbai to pursue her career in acting. She initially took on small roles in several Hindi television serials, attending numerous auditions and working hard to establish herself in the industry. After a year of perseverance, her efforts paid off when she landed her breakthrough role in the TV show “Kesari Nandan” later that same year. Since then, she has gone on to appear in various serials such as “Bahu Begam,” “Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke,” “Laal Ishq,” “Meri Hanikarak Biwi,” and “Paramavtaar Shri Krishna.” In 2020, she also made an appearance in the popular TV serial “Ishq Mein Marjawan 2.”
Smita has a diverse portfolio, having worked on multiple projects across various mediums. She acted in a YouTube short film called “Akber Miyaan Ki Ranginiya” and also played a role in SAB TV’s “Baalveer Returns” as Pari. Additionally, she starred in a web series titled “The Prayagraj”.
