Arjun Mohan is a well-rounded individual with a strong educational foundation. He completed an Advanced Program in Management (AMP) at INSEAD in 2022. He earned an MBA in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, where he was actively involved in the Placements Committee and served as a Student Editor of the IIMK Newsletter. In addition to his role at Sharekhan, Arjun Mohan is a Part-time Board Member at The Mom Store, a leading direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand specializing in mother and baby products, since April 2022. He also contributes as a Part-time Member of the Board of Advisors to the Electrical Engineering department at the National Institute of Technology Calicut, actively participating in implementing the latest developments in technology. Moreover, he holds a Part-time position as a Board Member at Talentedge, a prominent provider of professional certifications and degrees online for working professionals, partnering with leading universities in India and abroad.
Arjun Mohan’s prior leadership roles encompass being the Chief Executive Officer for India at upGrad, South Asia’s largest online higher edtech, from April 2020 to February 2023. Before that, he served as the Chief Business Officer at BYJU’S (Think & Learn Pvt. Ltd.) in various capacities, including Vice President Marketing and Consultant, where he was responsible for international business, expansion, brand marketing, and business development.
His earlier professional experiences include positions at Titan Company Limited as National Sales & Operations Manager, Tata Services as a TAS Manager (Tata Administrative Services), and various roles in product development and execution, particularly in engineering coaching and finishing school products. Arjun also has a background in pre-sales and consulting of EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software and worked with companies like Cannon, Infineon, and Wipro during his tenure at Mentor Graphics.
