Following the completion of his education, Anirudh Tanwar embarked on a career as a commercial pilot. However, in 2012, he made the courageous decision to leave his pilot job behind and pursue his true passion for acting. To refine his skills, he joined the prestigious acting classes of Barry John in Mumbai. Anirudh’s dedication to his craft led him to further training at the esteemed National School of Drama in New Delhi and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City. Notably, he also explored the realm of street theatre in the vibrant city of Banaras.
Anirudh’s acting journey took flight in 2018 when he made his debut on the silver screen. Portraying the role of Kabir Mathur, Rishi Kapoor’s on-screen son, he graced Netflix’s film ‘Rajma Chawal.’ Prior to this breakthrough, Anirudh had already established himself in the film industry, having worked as an executive producer for the 2015 film ‘Parched’ and as a producer for the 2016 film ‘TE3N.
