Coming from a non-Bollywood background family, Ankur Rathee embarked on his career by venturing into theatre and short films. His debut in front of the camera occurred in the short film titled ‘100: The Tribute,’ directed by Raashi Desai and Siddhi Sundar. This poignant short film served as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema, marking a memorable beginning to his artistic journey.
Ankur Rathee marked his film debut with a prominent role in “The Tashkent Files,” a film featuring esteemed actors Naseeruddin Shah, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pankaj Tripathi.
