Later, he left his job at Aerospace Research and Development, a US Air Force agency, to work in the Indian film industry. Deepak Kumar Mishra made his assistant directing debut in 2017 with the film Om Shanti Om. In 2012, he began working as an associate creative director at Viral Field Fever Media Labs.
