Dolly Singh

Dolly Singh is an Indian content producer, social media influencer, fashion blogger, and YouTuber. She is widely known for portraying the stereotyped “South Delhi Girl” and “Raju Ki Mummy” on YouTube. She is also a well-known and great content creator at iDiva.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Dolly Singh was born in 1993 and is an Indian native of the Uttarakhand region of Nainital. ‘Apna Baazar,’ a gift store owned by her parents, is located in Nainital. Anmol Singh, her brother, is a working photographer. Manu Chaturvedi, Dolly Singh’s boyfriend, goes by that name. He is a sole practitioner of law.

EDUCATION

Dolly Singh studied political science for her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. She then took the NIFT test and passed, enrolling in the Delhi campus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology to complete her master’s in fashion management.

CAREER

While working towards her master’s degree, she launched her fashion blog, Spill The Sass, in 2015. She created new fashion trends by publishing images, films, and other content on numerous social media sites, including videos on accessories, clothing hacks, and shopping for clothing and other items. She created her own YouTube account on April 17, 2016. Dolly Singh completed an internship at iDiva, a women’s web portal that provides a wide variety of women-centric content, as part of her graduation project. After she finished her internship, iDiva extended an offer to hire her as a content writer. Facebook had back then awarded iDiva a contract to create videos. Since the company was short on actors, every iDiva employee pitched in to help out with multiple tasks. Dolly began her career as a writer and producer before switching to acting. The iDiva director Santu Misra had the idea to create videos depicting clichéd “South Delhi Girls” in 2017. Dolly Singh and Kusha Kapila, who also acted in the video series, were incredibly well-known for their roles. The first installment of Dolly’s lucrative YouTube career, iDiva- Types Of South Delhi Girls: Part 1, served as its launchpad. Later, she appeared in a number of other iDiva videos.
