In terms of education, Hitesh holds an MBA in Finance from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), graduating in 2006. He pursued his undergraduate studies in BE, Mechanical – Production Engineering, at Delhi College of Engineering, completing his degree in 2003.
Hitesh’s educational journey began at Mount Carmel School, where he completed his schooling from 1984 to 1999.
CAREER
In his current position at CLSA, Hitesh has been serving as the Executive Director since November 2021, contributing his expertise to the organization for over 2 years. His responsibilities include overseeing strategic initiatives and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Prior to joining CLSA, Hitesh worked at Kotak Institutional Equities for 11 years, where he progressed through the ranks, culminating in the role of Director. His tenure from August 2020 to November 2021 saw him play a crucial role in the organization’s growth and success.
Before his association with Kotak, Hitesh spent almost a decade at CLSA, serving as an Associate Director for the Mumbai Area, India. During this period (Dec 2010 – Aug 2020), he specialized as an auto analyst, covering the auto OEMs and auto component sectors.
Hitesh’s professional journey also includes roles as an Analyst at Daiwa Capital Markets America Inc. (Sep 2009 – Nov 2010) and an Associate at Citigroup Global Markets (Jun 2007 – Sep 2009). He started his career as an Associate in the US Auto sector at J P Morgan India Private Limited (Jun 2006 – May 2007).
Hitesh’s early professional experience includes working as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Maruti Suzuki India Limited (May 2003 – Apr 2004), where he gained valuable insights into the automotive industry.
