Kamal Ravikant

Kamal Ravikant is a venture capitalist and Indian-American author. He is the author of several books, including Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It, Live Your Truth, and Rebirth. He is the founder and partner of the venture capital firm Evolve VC. He has a wide range of interests and engages in a variety of activities. These include trekking to Himalayan base camps, walking 550 miles across Spain, and jumping from a hot air balloon.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Kamal Ravikant was born in New Delhi, India on Saturday, May 22, 1971. He was a young boy when his family immigrated to the United States, and his mother raised him on her own.

In his early years, he lived in Queens, New York, with his mother and sibling.
Kamal comes from a Hindu family.
He was born into an Indian middle-class family. His father was an Indian pharmacist who moved to New York. Kusum, his mother, worked low-wage jobs in New York to support the family. She raised Kamal and his brother Naval Ravikant entirely on her own.
He also has a niece who he enjoys spending time with.
Kamal keeps his personal life to himself. However, he has revealed on his blog that he has had relationships with women.

EDUCATION

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Biology from the University of Rochester.

CAREER

Kamal Ravikant is a best-selling author best known for his 2012 book Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It. He also published Live Your Truth in 2013 and Rebirth: A Fable of Love, Forgiveness, and Following Your Heart in 2017. [6] He has served in the United States Army as an infantry soldier in addition to being a writer. He served in the US Army Infantry for three months in the Georgia swamps. In 2009, he founded Revnetics. Following his success as an author, he launched the Curious Kamal podcast.

VENTURE CAPITALIST

Along with his brother Naval Ravikant, he has worked as a venture capitalist. He has invested in thirty-four companies and exited thirteen of them. Among his investments are Alation, Carta, Clearbit, ClearTax, and others. He has also co-founded several companies as well as Evolve VC, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm.
