At 56 years old, he holds the distinction of being the eldest son of the late Dr. Bhavarlal Jain, the esteemed Founder Chairman of the company.
EDUCATION
Mr. Ashok Jain embarked on his academic journey by earning a degree in Commerce from the University of Pune. Beyond academics, he is a dedicated sports enthusiast who actively represented his alma mater in various sports, including Cricket, Badminton, Hockey, and Football.

From a young age, Mr. Ashok Jain displayed an enthusiastic interest in the family business, actively engaging in sales and marketing efforts even while he was a student. His professional journey commenced with work in the Mumbai office, focusing on Import-Export and Administration. Subsequently, he gained experience in the fields of Papain and PVC Pipe manufacturing in Jalgaon during the early stages of his career.
In 1989, he assumed responsibility for office and HR management, communication functions, and public relations. His tenure at Jain Irrigation has been marked by significant contributions and leadership. In 1993, he was appointed as a Director of the company and directed his efforts toward the marketing of drip irrigation and the provision of extension services to farmers nationwide.
Further demonstrating his commitment to the company’s growth, in 1996, Mr. Ashok Jain was appointed as the Vice Chairman of Jain Irrigation. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in overseeing the erection and commissioning activities of the Food Processing Division and managing bulk raw material procurement. He extended his influence across various divisions, including the Food Processing Division and the Green Energy Product Division, while taking charge of the group’s overall administration, public relations, and policy-making.
One of Mr. Ashok Jain’s notable strengths lies in his comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the company. His leadership is instrumental in maintaining critical relationships with the farming community, and he plays an integral role in conceptualizing and implementing philanthropic initiatives on behalf of the firm and the Jain family.
