Naveen Jaihind was born on 1 June 1981 in Bhainsru Kalan village, Rohtak, Haryana. He follows the Hindu religion and belongs to the Brahmin caste. His father’s name is Dharm Parkash. Naveen Jaihind was previously married to Swati Maliwal, who serves as the Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women. However, they got divorced in 2020.

– Naveen Jaihind joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement.

– In 2016, he was appointed as the convener of Haryana by the AAP.

In December 2022, Naveen Jaihind was arrested for allegedly assaulting Deputy Registrar Amit Sindhu at Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences in Rohtak, Haryana. He claimed that he raised his voice against biased document verification for nurse selection.
SOCIAL WORK
Naveen Jaihind operates an NGO named ‘Jai Hind Morcha,’ established in 2009. The NGO works on various issues such as advocacy and research, human rights, civic issues, disaster management, education and literacy, HIV/AIDS, right to information, sports, youth affairs, and more.
