Commencing his academic path at St. Joseph’s High School in Bhubaneswar, Prem Parija further pursued his education at Delhi Public School (DPS) in R.K. Puram, Delhi. Even in his school years, his passion for drama and acting emerged, laying the foundation for his future in the entertainment industry.
CAREER
Throughout his time at Hansraj College in Delhi, Prem engaged actively as a member of the Hansraj Dramatics Society. This participation served as a platform for honing his acting skills and acquiring valuable experience in the realm of theatre.
A turning point in Prem’s career occurred as he underwent method acting training at The Lee Strasberg School of Theatre and Film in New York. Renowned for producing some of the world’s finest actors, this institution played a crucial role in refining Prem’s craft and deepening his understanding of the art of acting.
In 2014, Prem made his cinematic debut by portraying the character Raghu in the Hindi short film ‘Sariwale.’ Subsequently, he contributed as an assistant director in various Hindi films, such as ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ (2015), ‘Lucknow Central’ (2017), and ‘Baazaar’ (2018).
In 2016, he seized the opportunity to serve as a second assistant director for the Netflix American science fiction drama series titled ‘Senses,’ thereby broadening his expertise in the realm of filmmaking.
