CONTROVERSIES
Tehseen and his brother Shehzad got into a fight in 2017 when Shehzad made a harsh proclamation against the Congress party. Tehseen allegedly severed all connections with his sibling. He declared in an interview that Shezad was no longer a member of his family and that all familial ties had been severed. We would simply suggest that he ought to have brought up any issues with Congress in the inter-party dialogue rather than through the media.
In 2019, the Indian Supreme Court fined him for making fun of the Jain guru “Tarun Sagar.”
BJP leader Smriti Irani charged him in 2019 with making sexist remarks against her in 2016.
