Vighnesh Pande, a multi-talented artist from Mumbai, India, has made a mark in various fields, excelling as a ventriloquist, comedian, anchor, actor, and pianist.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Born on 18th March 1997, he hails from a family of performers, with his father, Deepak Pande, being a magician, ventriloquist, and mind reader.
Vighnesh’s educational journey led him to pursue a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in Advertising at Chetana Junior College, Mumbai, and later, he studied Mass Communication and Media Studies at Chetana’s Self-Financing Section.
CAREER
At the young age of 15, Vighnesh performed as a ventriloquist on stage for the first time and quickly rose to prominence, becoming one of Mumbai’s best stand-up comedians by the age of 17. In 2010, he formally began his journey as a ventriloquist, and in 2017, he gained widespread recognition by participating as a contestant on StarPlus’ comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge,’ where he became the second runner-up.
In 2022, Vighnesh showcased his talent on Sony TV’s comedy show ‘India’s Laughter Challenge,’ securing a place as a finalist in the competition. His performances are often accompanied by his puppet, Anna, a female character through which he addresses pertinent women-related issues, earning immense popularity and appreciation from the audience.
Beyond his comedy endeavors, Vighnesh has ventured into hosting various TV shows, including co-hosting Zee TV’s ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ and being a comic relief on ‘Dance India Dance Lil’ Masters,’ ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra,’ and ‘Nach Baliye.’
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Vighnesh’s talent extends to filmmaking, and in 2013, he founded his production house named WireBox Production. Under this banner, he wrote, directed, and acted in several projects, including short films and TV commercials, gaining accolades and recognition for his creative abilities.
