Every mother wants her child to grow up, get the best education possible, marry, and live a happy life. Valso had such a dream, but when she discovered her son’s sexual orientation, her dream was shattered. They founded Be Unic. to avoid an awkward situation for the LGBTQ community.
It is a global e-commerce marketplace run by LGBTQ people. Shoes, clothing, accessories, home decor, and so on. In the last three years, approximately 500 products have been sold in 12 different countries. According to research, the LGBTQ community accounts for approximately 7% of the total population. In India, there are 5 crore LGBTQAI+ people. They want more people to join this platform to showcase their talent via Be Unic. They first began with footwear. They were vibrant and exciting. They later encouraged other LGBTQ entrepreneurs to sell products under the Be Unic brand. This is how the number of product categories grew. They work with over 26 queer creators and have over 500 products available.

At a valuation of 10 crores, the founders requested 1 crore for 10% equity in the company.
In fiscal year 19-20, sales were $20,000,000. FY 20-21 sales were 1.25 lakhs, FY 21-22 sales were 50 lakhs, March sales were 1 lakh, April sales were 3.5 lakhs, May sales were 5.5 lakhs, and June sales were 6 lakhs. Last month’s sales totaled 40000.
Peyush makes a 25 lakh offer for 25% equity in the company and 75 lakhs in debt, with the condition that it become a D2C brand and that all three owners work full time.
The owners did not accept the offer, and no final agreement was reached.
