Yogesh Jadhav is an Indian mixed martial artist (MMA) fighter and fitness instructor who has competed in and won numerous MMA championships in his home country. He participated in the Marathi reality TV competition Bigg Boss in October 2022.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

On December 3, 1995, Yogesh Manoj Jadhav was born in Akluj, Solapur District, Maharashtra, India. In 2011, Yogesh Jadhav finished his education at Sadashivrao Mane Vidyalaya and The Model Multi Purpose High School in Akluj.
Yogesh Jadhav is a Marathi family member.
Manoj Jadhav is the name of his father. Surekha Jadhav, his mother, stays at home.

CAREER

Yogesh Jadhav first became involved with martial arts at a young age when he enrolled in karate lessons. Yogesh claimed in an interview that his uncle, a professional wrestler who had competed in and won numerous honours in numerous wrestling events in Maharashtra, was the reason for his interest in martial arts. Yogesh Jadhav moved to Pune in 2011 to pursue a career in mixed martial arts after completing his education in Solapur. He joined the Dragon MMA Gym there and started picking up fresh Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) skills. Yogesh remarked, when asked why he left his homeland, “I come from a very small hamlet in Maharashtra where nobody has ever heard of anything like MMA. So, in order to pursue a career in MMA, I left my town in order to make some money. As a result, I travelled to Pune, where I joined the Dragon MMA gym and started learning new techniques for improving myself.
Yogesh Jadhav started working as a bouncer in a number of Pune-based clubs and pubs after turning 18 in 2013. He competed in and won the gold medal in the National MMA Championship in 2015.
Yogesh Jadhav competed in and won the MMA championship known as the “Full Contact Championship (FCC)” in 2017.
Yogesh Jadhav competed in the 2019 Bodypower India Open Mixed Martial Arts Championship, where he won.
He defeated Arpitam Sarkar to win the 2020 Fight Of Knights (FOK), an MMA competition.
He competed for Maharashtra at the National Kickboxing Championship in 2021, which was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS).
He competed in and won the Super Fitness MMA Pro Fight Championship that same year.
Yogesh Jadhav stated to the media in a 2022 interview that he planned to compete for India in Target UFC 300. Speaking about it, he stated, “I want to represent my motherland India at the UFC 300, and I vow that I will continue to develop and better myself as I go in my MMA career. The Dragon MMA gym, where I train, is now undertaking the makeover.
