Anjum Batra, also known as Honey, is an Indian actor working in Bollywood.

Born on November 25, 1984, in Abohar, Punjab, Anjum always aspired to become an actor since his childhood. There is no infomation about his father and mother’s names, martial status and family members.

EDUCATION

To pursue his dream, he pursued a Master’s Degree in Acting from Panjab University, Chandigarh.

CAREER

During his Master’s program, he unexpectedly landed the role of Sunil in the movie “Dev-D” in 2008, which marked his entry into the film industry. This opportunity came as a big surprise to him, as he wasn’t even aware that the audition he attended was for the same movie. This paved the way for the small-town boy to enter the vast Bollywood industry.

Anjum began auditioning for various roles in both the Hindi film and television industry. In 2010, he secured his first role in the crime series “Crime Petrol” on Sony Television.

His breakthrough in Bollywood came with the movie “Luv Shuv Te Chicken Khurana.” His portrayal of Dalidri- The servant was highly appreciated and loved, further solidifying his position in the industry.

Since then, Anjum has been steadily building his career, appearing in both Bollywood and Pollywood movies. Some of his notable works include “The Naughty Jatts” and “Mahi NRI,” along with appearances in TV commercials for brands like KBC, L&T, Tata Sky, and Muthoot Finance.

Anjum is eagerly looking forward to expanding his career with roles in highly anticipated movies like ’83, starring Ranveer Singh, and “Jersey,” starring Shahid Kapoor, both set for release in 2020. He attributes much of his success to Mr. Mukesh Chhabra, whom he considers a friend, philosopher, and guide.
