DEATH

On June 6, 2024, Noor Malabika Das was found deceased in her Lokhandwala, Mumbai flat. She was 37 years old. Her death, ruled as a suicide by hanging, has sparked significant concern regarding the mental health crisis in the Indian film industry. The All Indian Cine Workers Association has called for a thorough investigation by Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Honourable Shri Eknath Shinde, and Home Minister, Honourable Shri Devendra Fadnavis, urging them to consider all possibilities, including foul play.

Noor Malabika’s untimely death highlights the urgent need for addressing mental health issues and the pressures faced by individuals in the entertainment industry.
