Sushant Sreeram is currently serving as the Country Director for Prime Video at Amazon in India. In his current role, he has held the position since April 2023, accumulating 9 months of experience. Before his current role, Sushant held various positions within Amazon. He served as the Director & Head of SVOD Business for Prime Video from January 2022 to March 2023, contributing 1 year and 3 months to the company. Additionally, he assumed the role of Director – Marketing for Prime Video from October 2020 to December 2021, bringing his expertise to shaping the marketing strategies for Amazon’s streaming platform. Prior to that, he spent nearly three years as the Head of Customer & Brand Marketing for Prime Video, showcasing his dedication to the growth and branding of the platform.
Sushant also has a significant professional history with Xiaomi Technology, where he served as the Head of Marketing in India for three years, from 2015 to 2018, based in Bengaluru. During his tenure, he contributed to Xiaomi’s success in the Indian smartphone market, establishing the brand as the No. 1 selling smartphone in the country.
Before joining Xiaomi, Sushant played a key role in the marketing team at HolidayIQ.com. As the Head of Marketing from November 2012 to June 2015, he built a robust marketing team, led successful TV campaigns, and implemented a social content marketing engine that significantly contributed to the platform’s traffic.
Sushant has also contributed to the success of eBay during his tenure. As the Head of Acquisition Marketing from January 2011 to October 2012, he was responsible for building the brand, acquiring customers, and serving as the official media spokesperson for eBay. His achievements led to invitations to prestigious events, such as the Campaign Asia-Pacific ‘Agency of the Year Awards’ jury panel and the Global Social Media Summit in San Jose.
