He also obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Tamil Nadu Government Dental College & Hospital and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Ranchi College. Moreover, he has been recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRS PH) and holds a Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) degree.

As the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, Umesh Prasad strives to bridge the gap between scientific research and the general public. “Scientific European” publishes articles based on peer-reviewed journals, making the latest scientific advancements accessible to a broader audience and fostering a better understanding of complex topics.
In addition to his role as Editor-in-Chief, Umesh actively contributes to writing various articles for “Scientific European.” His dedication to science communication is further evident in his involvement in reviving the magazine “The India Review” (TIR) news, breathing new life into a publication that had not been active since 1932.
Umesh Prasad’s contributions extend beyond scientific communication. He has launched a digital portal to assist students seeking admission to European institutions, demonstrating his commitment to supporting aspiring scholars.
